Welcome
Welcome to my page, a place where I publish everything related to cybersecurity that I learn about: write-ups, blogs, notes, and whatever else catches my interest. If you enjoy cybersecurity, there might be something here for you!
The site is currently organized into three main sections:
- Blog: Deep dives and thoughts. There isn't much yet, but if you like reverse engineering, check out my recent post where I cracked a 20-year-old racing game installer from a famous publisher (details kept intentionally vague to avoid a DMCA takedown :D).
- Field Manual: My very incomplete organized notes, cheat sheets, and methodologies.
- Write-ups: Walkthroughs for challenges. You can find some of my Crackmes.one write-ups here, though my focus has shifted a bit away from pure reverse-engineering lately.
About Me
My name is Yves Bonneau.
By day, I work as a Back-end Developer at Natixis in Portugal. By night, I pursue my Master's degree in Information Security.
When I'm not working or studying, you can find me:
- Pwning boxes on HackTheBox
- Reversing binaries on Crackmes.one
- Competing in various CTFs with my university team xSTF
You can find my socials on the footer of any page on the website.
Certification Roadmap
I am actively working towards gaining more experience in cloud security, blue teaming, and red teaming through certifications. My goal is to obtain all of these by the time I finish my Master's in about two years.

- Microsoft AZ-900
- Microsoft AZ-104
- Microsoft SC-500 (releases in June)
- CompTIA Security+
- OffSec OSCP+
- HackTheBox CJCA
- HackTheBox CPTS
Status: Work in Progress
This site is primarily used for my own learning and reference. It grows as I do. I hope you find something useful here!
